Safety Information

  • Risk of Falling: Infants may fall through wide leg openings or out of the carrier. Always ensure fasteners are securely fastened before each use.
  • Check for Damage: Inspect seams, straps, and fabric for any tears or damage prior to use.
  • Proper Use: Take extra care when leaning or walking. Always bend at the knees, never at the waist.
  • Correct Positioning: Ensure your baby is properly positioned in the carrier before entering the water.
  • Weight Limit: This carrier is intended for children weighing between 4kg and 15kg (9lb - 33lb).

Suffocation Warnings:

  • Infants under 4 months of age can suffocate if their face presses tightly against your body. Always allow for head movement and make sure your baby's chin is not resting on their chest.
  • Constantly monitor your child to ensure their mouth and nose are unobstructed at all times.
  • For preterm or low-birth-weight babies, or children with medical conditions, consult a healthcare professional before use.
  • This carrier is designed for one child at a time.
  • Keep the carrier out of reach of children when not in use.

Usage Restrictions:

  • Do not use the carrier while engaging in activities such as cooking, cleaning, or any other task involving heat or chemicals.
  • Only wear the carrier when you have full mobility and accessibility to your child.
  • Extended use in warm weather may cause both you and your infant to overheat, as the carrier is made of neoprene.

TICKS Rules for Safe Babywearing (ACCC Product Safety Australia):

  • Tight: The carrier should be tight enough to keep your baby close.
  • In view at all times: You should always be able to see your baby's face by glancing down.
  • Close enough to kiss: You should be able to kiss your baby on the head by tipping your head forward.
  • Chin off the chest: Never let your baby’s chin rest on their chest, as this could restrict breathing.
  • Supported back: Ensure your baby’s back is naturally supported, with their tummy and chest against you.

Water Safety:

  • This carrier is for wading and splashing in water only. It is not designed for use in sporting activities.
  • Never submerge your baby’s head under water while using the carrier.
  • Always be mindful of water levels and your surroundings.
